Birthday & Celebration Picnic

This picnic includes a delicious seasonal vegetable and parmesan savoury tart to start, followed by either wonderful antipasti or stuffed roast peppers (cooked in our wood fired oven) accompanied by two salads - a wild rice salad with sun dried tomato, and a mixed salad with green leaves served with a basil dressing.

Following this fantastic array of Cornish produce there is an accompanying selection of the finest Westcountry cheeses, homemade marinated provencal olives and hand fried crisps from Cornwall, as well as our rustic homebaked bread rolls.

To finish we provide a punnet of Cornish strawberries, with a dollop of Roda's Cornish Clotted Cream, all washed down with the award winning Cornish Orchards Organice Cider, and Cornish Pure Blue water. Summer starts here.

Gourmet Picnics Coolbag

All Gourmet Picnics arrive with a white coolbag, making your picnics easily transportable to a location of your choosing.

Westcountry Cheeses

A selection of delightful Westcountry cheeses including Cornish Brie, Cornish Blue and Maryland Mature cheddar.

Vegetable & Parmesan Tart

Savoury tart made with seasonal Cornish vegetables and Italian Parmesan.

Punnet of fresh Cornish strawberries with Rodda's Cornish clotted cream

Antipasti

A selection of chargrilled artichokes, sunblush tomatoes, cherry bell pepper stuffed with cream cheese, and provencal marinated olives.

Wild Rice Salad

A light and tasty wild rice and sun-dried tomato salad.

Cornish Orchards Cider

One 500ml bottle of refreshing Cornish Orchards Organic Cider. A medium dry lightly sparkling cider with a crisp refreshing finish.

Green Leaves & Basil

A light starter of mixed green lettuce leaves served with an Italian inspired basil dressing.

Rustic Bread Rolls

Two rustic breadrolls handmade on the day of delivery before being baked in our wood-fired oven. Accompanied by Rodda's Cornish butter.

Marinated Provencal Olives

A punnet of green and black provencal oIives. Marinated to a special recipe by Gourmet Picnics.

Cornish Crisps

The "Agitater" is a classic salt and vinegar crisp with real crunch to agitate the tastebuds. The Agitater supports Surfers Against Sewage.

Biodegradable Cutlery

Two sets of cultery is included with your picnic. Sourced from Vegware.co.uk the cutlery fits in perfectly with our environmental sensibilities.

Pure Blue Water

A 500ml bottle of refreshing Cornish mineral water.

Gourmet Picnics takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously.

We have endeavoured to enable you to enjoy your picnic with the least impact on the environment around us. As such not only is our fish and other produce ethically sourced, so is what it comes to you in.

Whilst Gourmet Picnics make every effort to ensure that your picnics will reach you in the perfect condition it will leave us in, these are perishable items which must be eaten on the day it is delivered. The contents must be kept cool and out of sunlight. Due to the nature of the contents we cannot be responsible for any illness associated with shellfish or the ingredients included in our picnics.

Delivery Information

Our courier company APC assure us that in most cases deliveries will arrive before 12pm however we cannot guarantee it.

Your picnic will come packed in a polystyrene cool box, which unfortunately although not biodegradeble is fantastic for growing seedlings in, or even keeping your wine and beers cool on a barbie day!

Inside the box your: chosen picnic is freshly made that day by our chefs, and each course is individually packed in our special containers made from polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic produced from corn and other natural starches such as wheat. These are 100% compostable, and come from a great company called Vegware who assure us that everything we pack your picnic in is eco-friendly and sustainable.
