Any Time, Any Place Picnic

As well as the homemade Cornish crabcakes there's the fresh Cornish cucumber and carrot cut into perfect crudites with juicy sweet cherry tomatoes on the vine. We serve these with a homemade garlic crème fraiche.

Also in your picnic are two gourmet mini pork pies, accompanied by a mixture of crisp leaves with a basil dressing.

Added to this is a selection of delightful Westcountry cheeses, homemade provencal olives marinated to our own secret recipe. And if the above hasn't sated your appetite, we also include hand fried crisps from Corwall and rustic bread, baked fresh each morning in our wood fired oven.

To drink there is a winning combination of award-winning Cornish Orchards Organic Cider and Cornish Pure Blue water. Then finally to finish our decadant mini chocolate torte for two.

All Gourmet Picnics arrive with a white coolbag, making your picnics easily transportable to a location of your choosing.

A selection of delightful Westcountry cheeses including Cornish Brie, Cornish Blue and Maryland Mature cheddar.

Chilli Crabcakes

Delicious homemade chilli crabcakes made using locally caught crab, infused with chilli and served with a homemade spicy dip.

Mini Chocolate Torte

A delicious and delightful mini chocolate torte.

Mini Pork Pies

Two miniature traditional gourmet pork pies.

Cornish Orchards Cider

One 500ml bottle of refreshing Cornish Orchards Organic Cider. A medium dry lightly sparkling cider with a crisp refreshing finish.

Green Leaves & Basil

A light starter of mixed green lettuce leaves served with an Italian inspired basil dressing.

Crudités & Garlic Crème Fraiche

A selection of Cornish crudités - cucumber, Cornish carrot, and vine cherry tomato served with a homemade garlic crème fraiche dip.

Rustic Bread Rolls

Two rustic breadrolls handmade on the day of delivery before being baked in our wood-fired oven. Accompanied by Rodda's Cornish butter.

Marinated Provencal Olives

A punnet of green and black provencal oIives. Marinated to a special recipe by Gourmet Picnics.

Cornish Crisps

The "Agitater" is a classic salt and vinegar crisp with real crunch to agitate the tastebuds. The Agitater supports Surfers Against Sewage.

Biodegradable Cutlery

Two sets of cultery is included with your picnic. Sourced from Vegware.co.uk the cutlery fits in perfectly with our environmental sensibilities.

Pure Blue Water

A 500ml bottle of refreshing Cornish mineral water.

Gourmet Picnics takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously.

We have endeavoured to enable you to enjoy your picnic with the least impact on the environment around us. As such not only is our fish and other produce ethically sourced, so is what it comes to you in.

Whilst Gourmet Picnics make every effort to ensure that your picnics will reach you in the perfect condition it will leave us in, these are perishable items which must be eaten on the day it is delivered. The contents must be kept cool and out of sunlight. Due to the nature of the contents we cannot be responsible for any illness associated with shellfish or the ingredients included in our picnics.

Delivery Information

Our courier company APC assure us that in most cases deliveries will arrive before 12pm however we cannot guarantee it.

Your picnic will come packed in a polystyrene cool box, which unfortunately although not biodegradeble is fantastic for growing seedlings in, or even keeping your wine and beers cool on a barbie day!

Inside the box your: chosen picnic is freshly made that day by our chefs, and each course is individually packed in our special containers made from polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic produced from corn and other natural starches such as wheat. These are 100% compostable, and come from a great company called Vegware who assure us that everything we pack your picnic in is eco-friendly and sustainable.
